welcome to kids church!

It is our goal for the Hope Hill Kids Church to help your child experience extraordinary fun and meaningful learning while at church each Sunday. As a growing congregation, our Kids Church is comprised of young children of various ages, creating a fun multi-age classroom.

Quick Facts:

  • Yes, we have an elevator!

  • Ask a Hope Hill representative where to park your stroller

  • We provide a gated play area at the First Floor Theater Entrance Lobby after worship is over from 11:30am—12:30pm.

  • We also provide juice and snacks during Kids Church, so please be sure to let the teachers know if your child has any allergies upon check-in.

preschoolers: Dig into the life of Jesus

Digging Into the Life of Jesus curriculum lets kids walk in Jesus' footsteps from birth to resurrection to ascension. Kids don’t just learn about the historical Jesus; they get to know him personally. They’ll discover that Jesus is a real person—a real friend—who makes a difference in their lives today.

The lessons and activities are different each week, so learning about God is fun and interactive. There is always a core Bible lesson with fun, interactive applications, followed by games, crafts, discussion, object lesson and/or child worship videos - all of which are designed to flow with the day’s lesson.

We want to help parents have thriving discussions about Jesus with your children at home. So, parents will be sent home with a take-home handout to continue discussing last Sunday’s Bible lesson with your child throughout the week.

Mommy & Me

Mothers and their babies and/or toddlers are invited to join the play area with the preschoolers at the First Floor Theater Entrance. This is a private area for mothers to nurse children (please use a nursing blanket as a covering).

Quick Facts:

  • Please bring your own play blanket for the floor, teething toys for your child, and age-appropriate snacks.

  • Whenever you are ready to do so, you may check your child into the classroom with a teacher

Child Check-In

  • The Hope Hill Kids Church promises to provide a safe and secure environment for all children and workers who are involved in Kids Church activities.

  • The child check-in process is set up so that both the child(ren) and the parent that drops off their child will each get one adhesive sticker to wear with the child’s assigned number (and any noted allergies). No one will be allowed to pick up the child without that sticker, and it must be the same person who checked the child in.

  • If it is your first time at Hope Hill, a Kids Church Teacher will quickly help you create an account in our system, and we’ll be able to print a sticker for you and your child. The next time you check your child in will be even easier and faster.

  • Kids Church starts after the worship is over and announcements start!

  • Please pick your child(ren) up immediately after service, and then continue hanging out.

bathroom procedures

  • No Bathroom Policy. Kids Church Teachers are not allowed to bring children to the bathroom for any reason. Parents will be asked to take their children to the bathroom before checking them into Kids Church to lessen the mid-sermon trips to the bathroom.

  • No Diaper Changing Policy. No diaper changing except by parents. Parents will be called from the Sunday service to change diapers if needed. Parents will be asked to change their child’s diaper before checking them into Kids Church.

  • Contacting Parents. In the event that a child needs parental assistance, the following steps will be taken:

    • A Kids Church Teacher will project your child’s number (that you’ll receive upon check-in) on the big screen for you to see, and will send you a text through our child check-in system

    • Then show the Kids Church Teacher the matching number associated with your child’s number given at check-in
