Event: The Pulse of World Missions

  • @ The Vineyard Theatre (Manhattan) 108 East 15th Street New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

Welcome! Hope Hill Church of Manhattan invites you to come hear stories of some of the boldest believers in our world today. Pastor John Sprecher leads the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies (FCA), serving as U.S. Lead Elder of 89 churches and 32 parachurch organizations. With his finger on the pulse of world missions, Pastor Sprecher will explain how missionaries are impacting this world in some of the most dangerous zones of this planet. Leaving all the comforts we in America take for granted, men and woman called to missions work are:

  • Bible Translation: Translating the Bible for people groups that never heard a word from the Scriptures
  • Orphanages: Launching orphanages in war-torn regions
  • Relieving Poverty: Helping care for impoverished families and refugees
  • Evangelism: Reaching deep into lands that never heard the Gospel
  • Medical: Medical missions
  • And More

While these heroes of the faith ought to be rewarded here and now, many persecution and threats of death for the wonderful things they are accomplishing. This is why they must be the most courageous believers on the planet. From South America, to Europe, to Africa, to Asia and the Middle East, come hear Pastor John Sprecher tell the stories of missionaries spreading truth and aid to those in need. We think you’ll find a renewed excitement for the things God wants to do through you in your own context. Join us for the service, and then head out with us for conversation, fun, and a fantastic meal at Vapiano NYC (Italian restaurant). Don’t miss this!

After service we will all head out to lunch together for great food, conversation, and fun.
