Connect Group: God's Character

Co-Ed

The world is full of expressions of God's message to us. In the Bible we see a holy, jealous and vengeful God with a soft spot for His chosen. In the New Testament we see a God that is committed to forgiving and loving His creation and are introduced to a very gracious God ready to accept the humble yet tired of "showy religion" and hypocrisy. Join Grace in this exciting yet intimate study of God's character through the study of Scripture.

  • Week 1: Why did God make us? For what purpose?
  • Week 2: God had a Chosen Nation, Israel. How do we know this? How did he introduce Himself to them? How did He develop the relationship? What happened during the good times? What happened during the bad times?  (Old Testament)
  • Week 3:  What was God's intention for sending Jesus? What does it mean to be a child of God?

If you've ever simply thought of some of these questions or have questions of your own about Life and the Big Picture, join us to explore these questions and thoughts. All people of all faiths, beliefs and backgrounds are welcome ready for respectful dialogue and sharing.

The Hope Hill congregation will soon start Connect Groups that will meet in different locations around the city for mid-week Bible study and fellowship.

What is a Connect Group?
Connect groups are Bible studies made up of 5-10 people, that meet with the same group of people for four weeks in a row.

Purpose of Connect Groups
The purpose of getting together each week is to grow in relationship with God and to connect with others on a deeper level.  Connect groups offer a fun environment to learn, and are a safe place to ask questions, encourage each other, and pray together.

God made us to be in community with other believers, and to be encouraged and supported as we walk through life.  Each one of us also has something to contribute to the group that will encourage and enrich other people.  Think about joining a connect group today.
