While we are privileged to openly share our faith in America, Christians around the world are being oppressed for following Jesus. Anyone who is killed as a result of his or her faith is referred to as a martyr. Hope Hill will be attending an annual conference hosted by Voice of The Martyrs, an organization that highlights Christian persecution outside of the U.S. This will be an event where guest speakers will include Christians who have faced danger for preaching the message of Jesus in North Korea, Iran, Syria, and other restricted nations. You definitely don’t want to miss this event! Not only will it be informative, but it will give each one of us a greater appreciation for our religious freedom and challenge us to share our faith boldly. Also, we can begin to pray for our brothers and sisters that they will not lose faith despite the persecution that they encounter.
