Women of Faith: Inhabiting Your Own Story

As women living in our contemporary world, we are faced with the pressure to emulate patterns of success, independence and assertiveness, so that we would fit the mold of "the self-made woman". What if, in our complicated, unpredictable and often mundane individual stories there are details, unwrapped gifts and specific callings that God intends to use in His Master Plan, provided that we take hold of our own lives and do not forfeit our individual purposes?

We are going to take a look at the amazing story of Abigail in 1 Samuel 25:2-41 and see how a woman that is described as “beautiful and intelligent” chooses to honor God by covering her reckless husband’s mistake and by being present and resourceful, at a crucial moment.

Women of Holiness Gathering

At the upcoming Women of Holiness Gathering at the end of September, we will examine the woman caught in adultery from John 8:1-11 in detail. Then we’ll take action by waiting on the Lord asking Him to expose our sin issues. Then, we'll together come to Jesus for forgiveness, and lastly, we'll invite the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His passion for holiness, purity, and righteous living. We know that we cannot live this way without the empowering of the Holy Spirit.

Expect your mind to be challenged with the Word of God, your heart broken with the gravity of your sin, and your soul experiencing the unending love and forgiveness of Christ. This will be a very special evening where the women of Hope Hill come together as sisters in Christ in pursuit of deeper intimacy with Jesus, and growing in relationship with other each other.

Women of Faith Luncheon

Dear Hope Hill Women,

You are warmly invited to my house for a potluck luncheon, desserts, tea & coffee Saturday, August 25th from 12:00-3:00pm. I am beyond excited for what the Lord has placed on my heart to share with you. We're going to dive deep into the life and miraculous healing of the woman with an issue of blood in Luke 8:42-48. This woman tried everything she could to be healed from an ailment she suffered from for twelve years. Twelve years. Nothing worked, and no one could help her, until she encountered Jesus. After the potluck lunch, and Bible teaching, we'll go into a time of prayer, applying what this woman has taught us about the power of Jesus - the only One able to heal us of long-rooted issues we've unsuccessfully attempted to get rid of.

Any woman that is seeking breakthrough in life (from habitual disobedience of God’s commandments, sinful attitudes, fear & insecurity, brokenness, pain, emotional/mental wounds, sin-cycles, addictions and temptations, wandering aimlessly in life, etc.) is invited to this luncheon. Isn't this all of us, somehow?

Let's start the Fall off with a powerful encounter with Jesus, and leave deeper connected with each other. Please RSVP below.

Your Sister in Christ,

Renata Lee
Pastor Beau's Wife

Exchange Women's Conference

Life is demanding.  And because of the many roles we fulfill as women and the increasingly unstable world in which we live, we can often feel depleted or, worse, completely empty.  Yet God has called us to walk in victory— victory that doesn’t come through trying harder or being better organized or thinking positive thoughts.

Where does real victory come from then?  It’s so beautifully simple.  Jesus is calling us to come to him and rest in his presence.  It’s in this place that we find all of the grace that we need for the challenges life may bring.  Do you need more of God’s grace in your own life?

If so, we are excited to invite you to The Exchange Women’s Conference, “Draw Near,” with special guest speaker, Priscilla Shirer hosted by the Brooklyn Tabernacle!  This powerful weekend will be an opportunity for you to come away from the cares of life so you can draw near to the One who gives you strength.  Jesus longs to be near you and refresh your weary soul.
